Evergreen Gala: How You Can Support Tree Conservation
The Arboretum’s signature fundraising event of the year, Evergreen: The Gala for The Morton Arboretum, returned in person on September 18, as well as in a virtual online format designed to provide everyone the opportunity to support the mission to plant and protect trees for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world.
Donations for this special event contribute to the Arboretum’s leading-edge science, benefiting trees locally and globally as they face increased threats. In fact, the recent State of the World’s Trees reported that about a third of the world’s trees are threatened with extinction—more than all the threatened mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles combined.
Check out this short video for a glimpse of the important work of The Morton Arboretum and how you can make a difference.
There is still time to donate to this event! Your donation of any amount will support tree-focused research, conservation, outreach, and programs, and provide enduring impact and preservation of the Arboretum’s beauty and value for generations to come. Gifts of $500 and greater will be matched 1:1 thanks to the Hamill Family Foundation, and gifts of $10,000 to $25,000 will be matched 2:1!
Thank you for your generosity and support of the Arboretum’s important mission.
